Overview
In this role you support the Private Client practice within the Client Development, Marketing & Knowledge function. Based in London with travel to UK regional offices, you help shape the firm’s brand, client relationships and market presence. You will lead pitches, marketing materials and digital campaigns, and coordinate submissions and events to raise the firm’s profile. You collaborate with partners, fee earners and central teams to drive client listening, research and thought leadership.

Responsibilities
- Create and maintain pitch content and credentials statements, leading where appropriate or supporting senior colleagues
- Implement standards to capture and store work experience, case studies and testimonials
- Produce reports and populate pitch databases; draft ad-hoc presentations
- Support senior team members on pitches, including drafting experience statements, case studies and RFP responses; organise meetings and notes
- Assist with marketing materials and client communications with Design team
- Draft client newsletters and e-marketing content; use Vuture for distribution
- Deliver Private Client campaigns with central Marketing
- Coordinate directory and award submissions (Chambers, Legal 500); track referees and deadlines
- Draft submissions with input from partners; coordinate research interviews for Directories
- Plan and deliver events from inception to completion; manage suppliers and non-London events
- Support intermediary relationships and organise joint events
- Use InterAction to create and maintain marketing lists and reports; promote CRM adoption; ensure data quality
- Produce client research and present external/internal data as required
- Deliver reports on Marketing and Client Development activities with central teams
- Assist in creating materials for partner and senior member communications
Key requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience in legal marketing or professional services; international firm experience preferred
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and building trust quickly
- Excellent oral and written communication; ability to liaise with senior and international stakeholders
- Ability to draft persuasive marketing and pitch materials reflecting client expectations
- Computer literate with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of marketing databases (InterAction/Vuture advantageous)
