Cost Manager

Overview

Join Gleeds as an Assistant Cost Manager to advance cost estimation, planning, procurement and contract administration while preparing for APC and RICS chartership. You’ll work closely with Cost Managers to deliver cost plans, tender processes, and post-contract cost control, contributing to project value and client reporting. The role offers development opportunities, a global platform, and flexible working as you progress toward chartered status. This is a hands-on, team-based role in a global property and construction consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing order of cost estimates, option studies, cost plans and cost-in-use studies
• Support tender documentation and management of the tender process, including design of marking schemes
• Assist in evaluation and reporting of tenders
• Valuation of completed work and arranging payments
• Preparation and settlement of final accounts
• Administration of construction contracts
• Preparation of reports to customers
• Pursue Chartered status (APC)
• Contribute to team development and client delivery
