Overview

In this role you drive technical sales for a dust and fume filtration leader, managing OEM and reseller relationships while handling a high volume of quotes and orders. You will provide engineering support on airflow, equipment selection, and drawings, collaborating with engineering partners to specify system requirements. You also lead a small estimating team, shaping engineered solutions for industrial ventilation challenges. This position offers a hands-on, technically focused path with clear impact on customer outcomes and revenue growth.

  • basic salary circa 65,000 DOE

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop OEM and reseller customer base
  • Handle large volume of enquiries, quotations, tenders and orders
  • Provide technical support on airflow, equipment selection, and engineering drawings
  • Collaborate with OEMs and resellers across the UK on system requirements
  • Lead a small estimating team and oversee estimating activities

Key requirements

  • Technical sales or key account experience within dust extraction, LEV, industrial ventilation, filtration, or related equipment
  • Experience selling to OEMs, resellers, or technically knowledgeable engineering customers
  • Strong understanding of airflow and ventilation principles
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings
  • Comfort discussing mechanical and electrical requirements
  • Experience managing technical enquiries, quotations and tenders
  • Strong key account management and commercial skills
  • Team leadership or management experience advantageous
  • Background in engineered solutions rather than catalogue-led product sales
