Overview
In this interim role, you will support a leading international law firm’s construction practice on high-value projects across infrastructure, real estate, energy and development. You will draft, review and negotiate construction documents and provide risk-based contract management advice to clients across the project lifecycle. The position involves close collaboration with clients, consultants and contractors to structure procurement and project delivery. You will contribute to major development and regeneration initiatives, shaping robust, commercially focused agreements. Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction documentation (e.g., JCT, NEC, professional appointments)
- Advising on procurement strategies and project delivery structures
- Supporting major development, infrastructure and regeneration projects
- Providing commercially focused risk assessment and contract management advice
- Working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders
Key requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent common law jurisdiction)
- Proven experience in a recognised construction practice
- Strong background in non-contentious construction matters
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with project teams
- Excellent drafting and stakeholder management skills
- Available to commence an assignment in the near term
