Overview

In this role you drive sustainable sales and profitable growth for Ferrero in the Irish Grocery market by shaping strategic customer plans and leading cross-functional execution. You manage senior customer relationships, negotiate commercial terms, and partner with Finance to keep budgets aligned with objectives. You’ll analyze performance signals to identify risks and opportunities, while developing and coaching your team in Ferrero’s values. This is a hands-on, collaborative leadership role with a clear impact on category growth and customer partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic customer plans and translate opportunities into commercial priorities
  • Lead senior customer relationships and conduct key negotiations (agreements, promotions, pricing, investment)
  • Manage customer performance (sales, profitability, volume, trade investment, costs) with Finance alignment
  • Analyze customer/category/competitor performance to identify risks/opportunities and actions
  • Collaborate with Trade Marketing, Marketing, Category Management, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to execute plans
  • Coach and develop the team, fostering Ferrero’s values and accountability

Key requirements

  • Experience in FMCG commercial leadership with strong customer management
  • Understanding of Grocery market dynamics, especially in Ireland
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting
  • Confident negotiator with ability to build long-term relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to leverage insights for commercial decision-making and growth opportunities
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred
  • Significant commercial experience in FMCG or fast-paced consumer environment
