Overview

In this role you will guide the product direction for a flagship utility-focused platform, aligning engineering and delivery across teams. You’ll shape the technical roadmap, drive R&D, and partner with senior stakeholders to scale globally while advancing sustainability goals. Your work will impact how utilities bill, meter, and manage energy data at scale. This is a mission-driven opportunity to influence net-zero initiatives through innovative product engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee four scrum teams within Product Engineering and Delivery Engineering functions
• Spearhead R&D efforts for the flagship product to drive utility-focused innovation
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams and Senior Product Managers to ensure seamless delivery
• Scale the product globally, with emphasis on Central Europe and the Middle East
• Champion technical innovation to help utilities achieve net-zero goals
• Apply SME knowledge in energy, water, or utilities to shape product evolution

Key requirements

• Extensive experience in product engineering within a technical, innovative environment
• Background in energy, water, or utilities sectors
• Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams (senior product managers and engineers)
• Strong expertise in SaaS, cloud-based microservices, distributed monoliths, and modern architectures
• Passion for driving technical migration and using data to create greener solutions
