Overview

In this role you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex HPC/AI hardware issues, working closely with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure reliable system performance. You’ll engage across engineering, manufacturing, R&D, and support to deliver effective solutions and excellent customer experiences. Responsibilities

  • Investigate and diagnose complex HPC/AI hardware issues
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Support customers through the service lifecycle from diagnosis to resolution
  • Analyze hardware, interconnect, and infrastructure problems
  • Provide technical guidance, workarounds, and permanent solutions
  • Collaborate with Global Remote Support, Manufacturing, Testing, Training, Publications, Support Planning, and R&D
  • Manage escalations to engineering and development teams with clear documentation
  • Support both HPE and third-party hardware in customer environments
  • Maintain case documentation and timely updates to stakeholders
  • Assist with break-fix management via remote troubleshooting and on-site coordination
  • Participate in rotating on-call schedule for 24×7 support
  • Travel periodically for installations, training, and remote systems

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Typically 5-8 years of relevant HPC/AI/enterprise tech experience
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix
  • Experience maintaining hardware and software systems
  • Familiarity with diagnostic and debugging tools
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities
  • Experience gathering and documenting technical data for issue resolution
  • Ability to work with global teams and technical specialists
