Lease Advisory Surveyor

Overview

In this Lease Advisory role, you will manage a varied rent/lease renewal caseload for public and private sector clients within a respected property consultancy. You join a supportive, ambitious team and contribute to high-quality reporting and advisory work. You will mentor graduates and work closely with clients to extend service delivery. The position emphasizes professional growth, CPD, and contributing to the firm’s long-term success. This is a growth-oriented, client-focused opportunity in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of rent/lease renewal work for public and private sector clients
• Handle all aspects of landlord and tenant work across diverse property types
• Attend client update meetings and support new business development
• Provide high-quality reports and professional advice to clients
• Demonstrate strong landlord & tenancy knowledge and experience
• Operate effectively both independently and within a team
• Mentor graduates and junior staff
• Maintain comprehensive understanding of RICS and legal requirements for L&T reporting

Key requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of valuation methodology
• Strong analytical and report-writing ability
• Experience in private practice or VOA setting
• Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer
• 2/3 years PQE
• Willingness to travel to sites regularly
• Commitment to CPD
• Good interpersonal skills and willingness to engage in business development
