Overview

In this permanent role, you will apply your quantity surveying expertise within a reputable main contractor with a long-standing presence in the South East. You’ll manage commercial activities across multiple live projects, spanning new build and refurbishment work. The role supports delivery to time and budget while working closely with site teams and clients. It offers exposure to diverse sectors and a stable, established business culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial activities across multiple projects
• Oversee cost control for new build and refurbishment works
• Work autonomously across sites and interfaces with clients and teams
• Support delivery to time and budget targets
• Contribute to project profitability and reporting

Key requirements

• Solid permanent employment background in a reputable main contractor
• Experience across new build and refurbishment projects
• Experience across multiple sectors (retail, residential, healthcare, education, commercial) is preferred
• Ability to commute to Hertfordshire (near Stevenage) daily
• Full UK Drivers Licence
