Project Manager PBS

Overview

In this role you lead moderate-complexity projects within a matrix structure, guiding cross-functional teams to deliver on scope, timeline, quality, and budget. You actively manage client interactions and project financials, ensuring documentation compliance and profitability. You are the primary contact for customers on scope, schedule, and quality, collaborating with Cytel management to report status and outlook. This position offers impact through shaping project delivery and client satisfaction in a regulated, results-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project teams in planning and executing to meet contractual quality, timeline, and budget targets
• Manage client communication, interaction, and satisfaction throughout the project
• Oversee timelines, scope, and budget, including changes through the project life cycle
• Ensure up-to-date project documentation in line with SOPs and regulations
• Monitor and report project financial performance to meet profitability targets and forecast revenue and invoicing
• Communicate project status to sponsor and Cytel management
• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned customers on scope, timeline, budget, and quality

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 2+ years in clinical trials related to Biostatistics, Statistical Programming, or Clinical Data Management
• 3-5 years of Project Management experience or equivalent
• Experience managing business operations for clinical trials

• MS Office proficiency
• Basic knowledge of Project Management Principles and Methods
• Strong financial management skills
