In this role you will keep production sites safe and efficient by performing planned maintenance and handling breakdowns across mechanical and electrical systems. You’ll work on automated production lines, ensuring food safety and high quality standards. Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production and packaging equipment
  • Diagnose faults and perform first-time fixes to reduce downtime
  • Work with mechanical and electrical systems across automated lines
  • Maintain high health, safety and food safety standards
  • Record work in site systems and follow engineering processes
  • Identify recurring issues and suggest reliability improvements
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams across shifts
  • Escalate complex issues per site procedures

Key requirements

  • Proven experience within manufacturing
  • Mechanical and electrical engineering skills with a relevant electrical-focused qualification
  • Confidence in fault-finding on automated machinery and production equipment
  • Proactive approach with ability to prioritise under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right first time
