Overview

Senior Data Scientist opportunity in a fintech/consumer lending-focused firm to lead the growing data science function. You will own end-to-end work on credit models, data warehousing, and model governance in production. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, startup-like environment and help scale the modelling suite. The role offers substantial impact in credit modelling, with a strong emphasis on technical excellence and decision support.

Responsibilities

• Build a new Data Warehouse
• Develop and expand credit models and scorecards
• Work across the current credit model portfolio
• Create challenger models to enhance the modelling suite
• Monitor and report on models and oversee modelling processes

Key requirements

• 5 years of Data Science experience
• Experience in the financial sector
• Producing production-ready models/scorecards
• Excellent English communication (verbal and written)
• Strong SQL
• Strong Python/SQL or R
• Solid understanding of data warehousing
• AI tooling
