Overview

Turner & Townsend seeks a Cost Manager to lead cost governance across energy, power and infrastructure projects. You will monitor, forecast and report costs to the budget, and manage variances and cash flow. Collaborating with client and contractor teams, you’ll drive KPI delivery, value engineering and effective change control. Responsibilities

  • Operate at cost management level on major programmes
  • Administer contracts aligned to project objectives
  • Provide cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion within budget
  • Monitor cost variance and contract cash flow; ensure timely applications
  • Collaborate with client and contractor teams on deliverables, KPIs, programme performance, cost control and value engineering
  • Manage contract change within governance and best practice
  • Improve forecast and budget accuracy

Key requirements

  • Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject (ideally)
  • Experience with NEC3/Option C or NEC4 (preferred)
  • Experience on major programmes and projects
  • Experience in infrastructure or energy projects (rail, airports, utilities, highways; nuclear, oil & gas, wind, carbon capture)
  • Professional body membership or progress towards it (ideally)
