Health, Safety and Environment Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead HSE performance at a fast-growing manufacturing site, reporting to the Head of HSE. You will shape and mature HSE standards, drive continuous improvement, and support the business through its growth. You will collaborate with operations and senior stakeholders to sustain high compliance and embed a proactive safety culture. This is a chance to influence the site’s safety and environmental agenda at scale within a leading brand.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of HSE in site-wide activities
• Develop and maintain ISO 50001 while sustaining ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001
• Lead incident investigations, risk assessments, audits, and corrective actions to drive improvement
• Build strong relationships with operational teams to embed a positive safety culture
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site
• Contribute to the governance and reporting of HSE performance at leadership level

Key requirements

• Proven HSE management experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting
• Strong working knowledge of ISO standards (50001, 45001, 14001, 9001)
• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
