Development Team Lead Fintech

Overview

In this role you will lead a small .NET-focused development team within a fintech environment, delivering production-grade software for internal users. You’ll partner with Product Owner to shape development work, own system architecture understanding, and drive timely, quality delivery. The position combines leadership with hands-on technical work on a high-throughput platform. You’ll operate in a fast-paced, open culture and have the chance to influence data feeding and strategic tech decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the development team including recruitment
• Build and deliver business requirements
• Collaborate with Product Owner on defining development requirements and schedule
• Develop deep understanding of the system architecture
• Add and develop new data feeds to databases and large datasets
• Participate in data analysis and ensure production-ready software
• Deliver projects on time and within budget

Key requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and building production-level applications
• Experience managing a small team (mentoring)
• Experience monitoring and operating a production-level service
• Exposure to Agile methodologies (Kanban and Scrum)
• Strong C# / .NET, ASP.NET, WPF experience and RESTful API development
• MSSQL and T-SQL experience; performance optimization
• Experience with build tools and CI/CD in Microsoft stack
