Overview
In this role you will drive lean excellence across Linx’s manufacturing and operations, partnering with leadership to close performance gaps and build a hands-on continuous improvement culture. You’ll translate business priorities into practical improvement plans and lead shop-floor initiatives with senior exposure. The role blends cross-functional collaboration with measurable productivity gains and kaizen sustainment. This is your chance to shape operational excellence in a global manufacturing context.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily implementation of lean and continuous improvement practices across Linx operations
- Develop practical improvement roadmaps aligned to business priorities with structured action plans
- Drive targeted, sustainable improvements in key operational measures (productivity, daily performance, kaizen sustainment)
- Coach structured Problem Solving to identify root causes and define countermeasures with metrics
- Facilitate Kaizen events from charter to sustainment and maintain an improvement funnel
- Build continuous improvement capability through hands-on coaching and training across levels
- Support broader improvement plan by assessing current state and mentoring through certification pathway
- Collaborate with leaders across Linx, Veralto, and other companies to share best practices and translate data into priorities
Key requirements
- Hands-on lean or continuous improvement expertise in manufacturing
- Ability to identify performance gaps and connect improvement to business priorities
- Experience coaching and training manufacturing teams in a Gemba-based approach
- Ability to use operational data to identify trends and influence decisions
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills in a matrixed environment
- Willingness to travel internationally and to be based in St Ives regularly
