Clinical Psychologist

Overview

As a Clinical Psychologist at Rhodes Wood Hospital, you will support CAMHS Eating Disorders care with expert assessments and psychological interventions. You will work under the Therapy Lead, contributing to MDT decisions while managing complex caseloads. The role includes staff training, reflective practice facilitation, and ongoing professional development within a mission-driven hospital. Responsibilities

• conduct diagnostic and cognitive assessments
• deliver individual and group psychological interventions
• participate in MDT work and risk assessments
• facilitate staff reflective practice sessions
• design and deliver training
• manage a wide-ranging caseload with complex needs
• develop specialist psychological treatments
• adhere to HCPC standards and company policies

Key requirements

• BPS recognised psychology degrees
• HCPC registered
• Chartered Psychologist status and post-graduate qualifications
• approved supervisor within BPS guidelines
• understanding of evidence-based psychological practice
• experience applying psychology in a clinical setting
• experience with clients with cognitive deficits
• experience in research and project work
