Overview
In this role you lead revenue growth and strategic relationships for a defined MMPE client portfolio, collaborating with GCSPs, deal teams and sector leaders. You act as a trusted advisor on private equity value creation and deal cycles, orchestrating EY capabilities to deliver outstanding client service and commercial outcomes. The position is highly externally facing, with a strong emphasis on cross-border collaboration and market positioning. You will drive client impact at the senior level and shape account strategy to unlock growth.
Responsibilities
- Identify and close new revenue opportunities within MMPE clients to grow share of wallet
- Understand client strategies, deal pipelines and portfolio priorities to uncover opportunities
- Lead account planning and commercial strategy with GCSPs and accounts teams
- Manage pipeline, progress opportunities, and track ROI outcomes
- Share best practices across MMPE and PE to improve performance
- Build and sustain senior‑level client relationships with C‑suite and investment professionals
- Act as trusted advisor to GCSPs and senior firm leadership influencing engagement models
- Spend majority of time with clients to anticipate needs and enhance experience
- Develop strong external networks in the PE ecosystem to strengthen EY’s market position
- Coordinate with GCSPs, deal teams, sector leaders, and service lines to deliver integrated client solutions
- Lead cross‑functional and cross‑border teams to tailor proposals for complex needs
- Champion collaboration, knowledge sharing and innovation across account teams and the firm
- Partner with Clients & Industries, Solutions & Services and Sales Enablement teams
- Prepare for and lead senior client meetings with professionalism and discretion
- Contribute to MMPE and PE leadership priorities and culture
Key requirements
- 12+ years in senior client leadership roles within professional services
- Experience working with private equity clients, understanding deal cycles, value creation and portfolio dynamics
- Proven track record selling complex multi‑service offerings at C‑suite and senior investment professionals
- Experience managing complex, global client relationships across geographies and service lines
- Strong commercial judgment, client management and influencing skills
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams in a matrixed environment
- Change leadership ability with adaptive leadership style and conflict management
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies, account management and go‑to‑market models
