Overview
In this role you support the Registered Manager to grow and deliver outstanding private domiciliary care for older people. You will help run the service, ensure quality care, and manage staff and CAREGivers, while building the local network. You’ll drive quality assurance, implement improvements, and handle incidents to sustain high standards. Responsibilities
- Coordinate setup, growth, and development of a high-quality domiciliary care service
- Network in the local community to raise awareness of the service
- Recruit and train CAREGivers
- Convert client enquiries and coordinate staff rotas
- Care planning and risk assessments ensuring regulatory compliance
- Support the Registered Manager in team management and workload planning
- Maintain quality control systems and conduct QA visits
- Review and improve processes for efficient service delivery
- Manage complaints/incidents and drive service improvements
- Promote the Home Instead ethos and values in daily operations
Key requirements
- Extensive care experience with excellent customer service and people management skills
- Commercial awareness and ability to drive business growth targets
- Strong influencing and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility for on-call rota and travel within the community
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 5
