Overview
London-based international law firm seeks an experienced Public International lawyer to join as a Litigation Partner. You will handle challenges to asset freezing measures and targeted sanctions, advising high-profile clients, businesses and sovereign states. You will represent clients before tribunals and courts across Europe and beyond, contributing to strategic dispute resolution at the highest level. This is a leadership role in a firm with a strong reputation that values decisive advocacy and cross-border work.
Responsibilities
- advise on challenges to asset freezing measures and targeted sanctions
- represent clients before tribunals and courts (e.g., High Court London, ECJ)
- provide strategic litigation and advocacy in public international law matters
- drive client-focused dispute resolution and media engagement as needed
Key requirements
- Public International Law experience
- European and Human Rights Law expertise
- strong background in administrative/regulatory processes and sanctions challenges
- partner-level PQE or equivalent seniority
