Overview
In this role you advise a broad range of clients on corporate and business law matters, supporting deals and reorganisations. You will work closely with colleagues across advisory services to deliver joined-up, high-quality advice. The role offers exposure to complex transactions and cross-functional collaboration. You help clients realise their ambitions through strategic guidance on company law, M&A, joint ventures, and employee ownership structures.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on company law and general business law matters
- Manage group reorganisations including capital reductions, share buybacks, exchanges and reconstructions
- Provide capital investments and strategic advice to startups and growing businesses
- Draft and negotiate joint ventures, investment and shareholders agreements
- Lead mergers and acquisitions of companies and businesses
- Work with Employee Ownership Trusts
- Collaborate with wider advisory services team to deliver integrated advice
Key requirements
- Approximately 3-4 years’ post-qualification experience
- LPC qualification or equivalent
- Valid Solicitors Practising Certificate
- Experience in corporate law
- Experience in a partnership environment
