Technology Audit Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead technology-focused internal audit activities to strengthen assurance across cloud platforms and the wider tech environment. You will partner with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives, to scope, execute, and report on risk and control effectiveness. You’ll help the organisation scale securely while exploring innovative approaches, including AI, to improve audit speed and impact. Responsibilities

• Lead standalone and integrated Technology and IT-related reviews with senior stakeholders and co-source partners
• Scope risk and controls, design test strategies, and document outcomes
• Consolidate observations, produce impactful reports, and track follow-up actions
• Follow up on audit actions to ensure timely closure
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across levels of seniority
• Collaborate with risk function and co-source partners to deliver timely, impactful audit opinions
• Identify opportunities to apply Generative AI to streamline tasks and improve productivity
• Maintain awareness of evolving cyber threats and incorporate relevant controls into audit approaches

Key requirements

• Proven experience leading audits of technology platforms, SDLC, and technology operations in Cloud environments (IAAS, PAAS, SAAS)
• Experience and understanding of AI influence on technology controls and integration into audit approach
• Experience in assessing emerging cyber threats and auditing related controls
• Experience with various test strategies, including Data and Analytics, to test design and operating effectiveness of controls
• Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Enthusiastic, creative, and proactive in using expertise to support assurance aligned with organizational priorities
• Ability to leverage Generative AI to streamline daily tasks and improve productivity
• Comfort using approved AI tools safely to enhance output
