Overview

As a Risk Manager within our Energy & Natural Resources team, you’ll support projects of varying size by capturing and prioritising risks, driving mitigations, and ensuring delivery targets. You will work closely with senior risk managers and cross-functional teams to align risk data with cost and schedule goals. With a nuclear sector focus, you’ll apply quantitative and qualitative risk practices to protect client objectives and project value. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement client-tailored risk management processes
  • Facilitate risk workshops with SMEs
  • Create and maintain risk registers and risk information
  • Improve risk data quality and robustness
  • Drive mitigation actions across projects
  • Develop measurable management responses post-mitigation
  • Conduct Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) for cost/schedule impacts
  • Produce timely risk reporting using PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Power BI
  • Collaborate with Project Controls and supply chain to align risk data and inputs

Key requirements

  • Professional risk management experience across the project lifecycle
  • Ability to adapt risk strategies to change
  • Strong communication skills for stakeholders
  • Familiarity with risk management tools (Safran, @risk, PRA)
  • Knowledge of risk standards (ISO31000, APM, Orange Book, IPA)
  • BPSS security clearance eligibility
  • Membership of a professional body (IRM or APM) or equivalent
  • Experience in Project Controls and supplier risk management
