Overview

In this role you will lead manufacturing projects and optimize processes to support high-precision turbocharger production. You will work closely with Design, Quality and Procurement to bring new or improved manufacturing methods to life, ensuring on-time delivery and cost effectiveness. You’ll tackle non-conformance through root-cause analysis, own inspection protocols, and implement improvements that scale across operations. This position offers hands-on CNC and measurement programming in a collaborative, people-first culture with opportunities to influence efficiency and quality at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage manufacturing projects from planning to delivery and cost control
  • Create and maintain manufacturing routings, layouts and instructions
  • Investigate non-conformances using root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Plan and perform inspection activities and generate non-conformance reports
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Quality, Procurement and external suppliers
  • Define and procure jigs, fixtures, tooling, gauging and lifting equipment
  • Generate and implement cost reduction initiatives
  • NC programming for multi-axis Turning, Milling, Grinding and EDM
  • Programming of CMMs using PC-DMIS

Key requirements

  • HNC level or above in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • experience in a modern manufacturing facility with modern machining techniques
  • problem-solving ability; capable of working independently and in a team
  • knowledge of Siemens NX (CAM) and Hypermill is advantageous
  • knowledge of LEAN manufacturing techniques
