Overview

As a Senior Solutions Architect at KBR you shape winning, low‑risk, profitable solutions for high‑value programmes in Defence, Government and Nuclear sectors. You’ll lead early client conversations, craft solution strategy, and mentor teams to deliver credible architectures and proposals. You work cross‑functionally with BD and Capture to differentiate proposals and articulate value through technical narratives. This role places you at the heart of strategic deals, influencing outcomes before requirements are set, with a focus on secure, scalable, future‑proof designs. You will join a collaborative culture that values expertise, pace, and impact on national security and critical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with customers to build trusted relationships and identify opportunity pathways
  • Develop innovative, low‑risk, profitable solutions that meet security, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Capture teams to shape winning themes and differentiators
  • Produce compelling proposal content including BOEs, architectures, and white papers
  • Mentor and inspire teams to strengthen technical capability and delivery confidence
  • Engage stakeholders at all levels, from clients to executives, with clarity and credibility

Key requirements

  • Solution selling and early client engagement across Defence, Government or Nuclear sectors
  • Building deliverable, profitable, low‑risk solutions for major programmes
  • Leading the technical solution for bids, pursuits, and tenders
  • Developing high‑quality technical content (architectures, white papers)
  • Partnering with BD, capture, and programme teams to shape propositions
