Quantity Surveyor (Housebuilder) | Permanent | Oxfordshire

Overview

In this role you will support a regionally-focused housebuilder by delivering commercial oversight on multiple new build residential projects. You will split time between the Oxford office and on-site work, driving cost control, contracts, and value across concurrent schemes. The role emphasizes autonomy and strong commercial skills within a trusted, quality-focused business. This is an opportunity to shape residential developments, including RC frame and traditional builds, within a growing regional portfolio.

Pay / Benefits

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial aspects on multiple new build residential projects
• Provide autonomous cost control and contract administration across sites and office
• Support delivery of a circa 200-unit RC frame apartments and traditional build schemes
• Ensure financial reporting, cost-to-complete, and procurement processes are kept up to date
• Collaborate with site teams to align budgets with executions
• Work with a reputable housebuilder to uphold quality and commercial standards

Key requirements

• Ideally Degree qualified
• Extensive experience with a reputable housebuilder
• New build residential project experience essential
• RC Frame experience and traditional build experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects autonomously
• Excellent all round commercial skills
• Full UK Drivers Licence
