Overview

Role leads electrical and building services design for Asset Intelligence Aviation, delivering safe, compliant and innovative engineering solutions for aviation infrastructure. You provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring designs are buildable and aligned with client and regulatory requirements. You’ll lead and mentor the design team, collaborate with clients and partners, and drive digital engineering and continuous improvement on large-scale aviation projects. Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the design team for electrical and building services across aviation projects
• Plan, allocate and manage design resources to support successful delivery
• Ensure design activities comply with legislation, CDM, industry standards and internal governance
• Provide technical leadership and specialist support to project teams, clients and stakeholders
• Lead technical reviews, site visits and engagement with design consultants, sub-contractors and suppliers
• Develop and review technical scopes, specifications and design solutions to meet requirements
• Support tendering and project delivery with technical input and design expertise
• Review and approve design deliverables for quality and alignment with objectives
• Drive innovation and digital engineering adoption to improve outcomes
• Manage design changes through formal change control and assess commercial impacts
• Ensure effective handover of design information to construction, commissioning and operations
• Support recruitment, development and mentoring of team members
