Associate Electrical Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead and grow the Bristol office as Associate Electrical Engineer within a respected building services consultancy renowned for Net Zero projects. You will own assigned project work, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with other disciplines to deliver high-quality results. You will manage stakeholders and assist senior managers with commercial and contractual aspects. You will apply your electrical engineering expertise to lead electrical elements of large projects or a portfolio of smaller ones. This role offers the chance to shape sustainable design and contribute to a strong UK reputation.

Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of assigned project work with the established team
• Support and develop junior team members
• Coordinate with allied engineering disciplines to deliver projects
• Manage internal and external stakeholders
• Support senior managers with commercial and contractual aspects of projects

Key requirements

• Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
• Experience mentoring and leading project teams
• Enthusiastic and ambitious
• Excellent communication skills including report writing and presentations
• Ability to lead electrical elements of a large project or a portfolio of smaller projects
