Overview

Fuse Energy is a fast-growing renewable energy company building integrated hardware and energy solutions. In this role you will own the hardware supply chain end-to-end, converting designs into manufactured products with the right cost, quality and volume by managing contract manufacturers globally. You will secure supply and resilience while collaborating with engineering on manufacturing standards and certifications. You will negotiate manufacturing agreements and support design-for-manufacture and ramp to production, driving scalable hardware for a mission to accelerate clean energy. Expect high autonomy and real impact in a first-principles, cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing, qualifying and managing contract manufacturers globally
  • Owning landed cost across BOM, tooling, NRE, logistics, unit pricing and volume tiers
  • Securing supply and building resilience across lead times, capacity, dual-sourcing, logistics and inventory
  • Working with engineering on manufacturing standards, certifications and acceptance criteria
  • Negotiating and managing manufacturing agreements, including tooling ownership, IP protection, payment and warranty terms
  • Partnering with Hardware/Product and engineering through design-for-manufacture and production ramp

Key requirements

  • Procurement, supply-chain or sourcing experience in hardware/electronics or manufactured physical products
  • Hands-on experience managing contract manufacturers globally
  • Strong grasp of BOM cost, tooling and NRE, landed cost and contract manufacturing mechanics
  • Comfortable working alongside product and engineering through DFM and production ramp
  • Organised and resilient, capable of owning day-to-day supplier and supply-chain management
