As a Building Surveyor in Bidwells’ Oxford team, you will contribute to high-profile life science and technology property projects, gaining exposure to refurbishment, fit-out and contract administration. You work closely with a seasoned Partner and a life science specialist to deliver complex schemes for prestigious landlords and occupiers. The role blends hands-on project delivery with broad surveying expertise in a supportive, development-focused environment. Responsibilities

• Support full breadth of commercial building surveying with emphasis on project delivery and contract administration
• Act as Employer’s Agent or Contract Administrator on refurbishment, alteration and fit-out projects ranging from small to multi-million-pound schemes
• Work on projects across Oxford campuses and noted life science and tech assets
• Gain experience in dilapidations, technical due diligence, planned preventative maintenance, defect diagnosis, landlord & tenant matters, Principal Designer services, and building pathology
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver spaces for life sciences, advanced manufacturing and innovation

Key requirements

• Degree in Building Surveying or related discipline
• MRICS achievement (where applicable)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
