As a Senior Data Scientist at Naimuri you will apply a scientific, methodical approach to customer data to deliver robust, data-driven solutions. You’ll collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and customers to design, analyse, and communicate insights while advancing ML/AI capabilities. You’ll mentor earlier-career colleagues and help shape the team’s learning culture in an agile environment. Responsibilities

• Analyse and model customer data; perform statistical analyses and cleaning/transformation pipelines
• Design and implement data ingestion, cleansing, and feature extraction processes
• Develop, train, and deploy ML/AI models for prediction, detection, and classification
• Visualise and present data analyses and model outputs to diverse audiences
• Engineer data platforms, databases, and data pipelines as part of delivery solutions
• Collaborate with software engineers and data engineers to implement data science solutions
• Conduct and report experiments; design experiment plans and communicate results
• Mentor and support junior colleagues to foster continuous learning across the team
• Collaborate with customers and project leads to identify opportunities and translate requirements
• Investigate, transform (with provenance), and model data; potentially create synthetic data when appropriate
• Research and prototype new data science techniques; contribute to academic collaborations and supervise MSc/PhD candidates

Key requirements

• Significant industry experience as a data scientist
• Experience leading a team or project
• Conscientious, curious, and scientific approach to work
• Strong analytical problem-solving abilities
• Ability to communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences
• Experience presenting analyses using tools like Jupyter Notebooks
• Experience designing and developing data ingestion and transformation pipelines in Python
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and end-to-end ML lifecycle
• Experience helping to transform or implement an organisation’s data science strategy
• Ability to design and execute experiment plans and communicate findings
