Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver business plans to grow the agricultural property practice
• Network and build relationships with existing and new clients
• Collaborate with legal and support teams to service client needs
• Advise on sales/purchases of farms and farmland, agricultural tenancies, and transfers of farming businesses
• Contribute to the firm’s growth strategy through BD and networking
• Mentor/lead junior lawyers in the department
• Represent the firm in client meetings and negotiations
• Maintain up-to-date expertise in agricultural law across matters

Key requirements

• 7+ years PQE in agricultural property law
• Excellent academics and strong reputation in the field
• Broad technical ability in agricultural law
• Strong business acumen and strategic/operational thinking
• Proven track record in client relationship management and BD
• Ability to drive growth and contribute to firm strategy
