Senior Cost Consultant – Healthcare

Overview

In this role you drive contract administration for a high-value healthcare infrastructure program in Jersey. You work within a multi-site delivery team on the NHFP Overdale project, focusing on NEC contract management, communications, risk and change control. You will coordinate with stakeholders and ensure contract compliance to support safe, on-time delivery to end-2030. The opportunity emphasizes real impact in a complex, safety‑conscious environment with a flexible hybrid/work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day NEC contract administration under the Commercial and Contract Lead
• Review contractor notices, submissions and contractual correspondence
• Draft Project Manager communications, notices, instructions and responses for approval
• Manage Early Warning and compensation event workflows, timelines and actions
• Assess contractual entitlement and prepare reasoned recommendations
• Support risk reduction meetings and negotiations
• Maintain contract compliance oversight

Key requirements

• Proven experience on large-scale healthcare or complex infrastructure projects
• Ability to operate in a stakeholder-rich environment
• Extensive NEC4 contract experience, ideally NEC Accredited Project Manager
• Experience working through RIBA Stage 5 on major construction schemes
