Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global corporate tax strategies aligned with business objectives
- Lead corporate tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions (corporation tax, VAT, indirect taxes)
- Manage transfer pricing documentation and engage with tax authorities during audits
- Advise on M&A, reorganisations, and international structuring
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing tax team
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and business units on tax implications of initiatives
- Represent the organization in negotiations with HMRC and other authorities
- Monitor tax law changes and recommend timely responses
- Establish and maintain robust tax risk management frameworks
- Deliver actionable tax reports to senior management and the board
Key requirements
- Professional qualification in CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent
- Proven experience in corporate tax, preferably in a large organisation or top-tier firm
- Expertise in international tax structures, transfer pricing, and cross-border compliance
