Procurement and Supply Chain Manager

Overview

In this role you will oversee procurement and supply chain assurance across major infrastructure programmes from London. You will collaborate with procurement, commercial and delivery teams to secure compliant, value-driven procurement aligned with project objectives. You’ll drive forward-looking procurement planning, monitor KPIs and support continuous improvement across the supply chain. The opportunity centers on shaping procurement strategy and governance to enable on-time, efficient project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide assurance and oversight of procurement and subcontracting across the programme
• Ensure compliance with Procurement and Subcontracting Plans
• Review and challenge procurement strategies for value for money
• Coordinate and maintain a forward-looking procurement pipeline
• Align procurement with construction and delivery schedules and escalate risks
• Review tender documentation and support clarification and negotiation
• Monitor procurement progress, forecast SME/local spend, and report KPIs
• Identify lessons learned and lead standardisation and continuous improvement across supply chain functions

Key requirements

• Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Quantity Surveying, Business Management, Engineering, or related discipline
• Extensive experience in procurement, supply chain, commercial or subcontract management on major infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of procurement governance, tendering processes, and supplier management
• Skilled in reviewing tender documentation, evaluation reports, and procurement strategies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement experience
• Ability to analyse procurement data and provide strategic recommendations
