Overview
As a Quantity Surveyor you will take commercial responsibility for multiple groundworks and infrastructure schemes from pre-construction to final account. You’ll split time between office and site across Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire, working with operations, clients and subcontractors to deliver profitable projects. Expect a role that combines cost reporting, procurement, and contract management to support a growing family-run business with long-term progression.

Responsibilities
- Cost reporting and budget management
- Valuations and applications for payment
- Procurement of subcontractors and materials
- Management of variations and change control
- Subcontractor account management
- Preparation and agreement of final accounts
- Commercial support to site and operational teams
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Key requirements
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Experience within groundworks, civil engineering, roads and sewers or infrastructure sectors
- Strong understanding of commercial management and cost control
- Experience on residential development projects
- Good contractual knowledge and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
