Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day employment law and HR advisory support
- Handle Employment Tribunal litigation and dispute resolution
- Manage disciplinary, grievance and performance matters
- Lead redundancy and restructuring projects
- Oversee TUPE and outsourcing arrangements
- Advise on executive appointments, exits and settlement agreements
- Address discrimination, whistleblowing and employee relations issues
- Assist with employment aspects of corporate transactions and reorganisations
- Draft and review employment contracts, policies and handbooks
- Lead complex matters, supervise junior team members, manage client relationships, and contribute to business development
Key requirements
- 6+ years’ PQE in a recognised employment law team
- Strong technical knowledge of UK employment law
- Experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters
- Excellent drafting, advocacy and communication skills
- Strong commercial awareness and pragmatic problem solving
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and build lasting client relationships
