Associate – Structured Finance & Derivatives – Bristol – 2+ PQE

Overview

In this role you will support a leading international practice’s Structured Finance & Derivatives team in Bristol, focusing on complex cross-border transactions across multiple asset classes. You will advise on structured products, repackagings, and credit/derivative structures, while managing significant workstreams and client relationships. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across Financial Markets, Capital Markets and Financial Regulation to structure, execute, and address regulatory considerations. Responsibilities

• Advise on domestic and cross-border structured finance matters across asset classes
• Work on repackagings, structured credit products, and exchange-traded products
• Handle equity and fund-linked structures and strategic equity transactions
• Develop credit risk mitigation arrangements and bespoke financing solutions
• Manage significant transaction workstreams and day-to-day client relationships
• Collaborate with Financial Markets, Capital Markets and Financial Regulation teams
• Support structuring, execution and regulatory considerations for clients
• Contribute to delivery of complex, innovative, high-value matters

Key requirements

• 2+ years’ PQE in structured finance, structured products or derivatives
• Experience advising investment banks, asset managers or financial institutions
• Strong technical skills and transaction management capability
• Ability to take ownership of matters and build strong client relationships
• Commercial awareness and pragmatic problem-solving
• Collaborative mindset and interest in mentoring junior team members
