Overview

As an Assistant Manager in Interpath Valuations, you will support high-profile valuation assignments across business, share, intangible, and tax valuations, including M&A and restructuring contexts. You will develop and maintain financial models, interpret financial data, and present results to clients and colleagues, contributing to robust valuation conclusions. You will work with cross-functional teams on multiple projects, meet deadlines, and seek process improvements. This role offers opportunities to grow deep valuation expertise within a global advisory platform.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on industries, comparables, and transactions to inform valuations
  • Develop and maintain financial models and perform detailed analyses
  • Interpret financial statements to draw conclusions and recommendations
  • Communicate valuation analysis to clients and internal teams
  • Contribute to analysis of comparable transactions and quoted companies
  • Assess risk and reward by applying research to business valuations
  • Attend site visits and engage with management
  • Prepare first draft valuations and present internally
  • Manage multiple projects with deadlines and client expectations
  • Collaborate with teammates to develop new approaches and improvements

Key requirements

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CFA (or equivalent)
  • Experience in Audit is beneficial
  • Interest in Deals/M&A with exposure to valuation methodologies and financial modeling
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
