Overview
In this Audit Manager role, you’ll lead a portfolio of audit engagements within a well-regarded Leatherhead practice. You’ll mentor junior staff, maintain strong client relationships, and ensure audits meet UK standards and regulatory requirements. You’ll collaborate with partners on technical and strategic matters and contribute to process improvements and team development. Responsibilities
- Lead planning, fieldwork, and completion of audit engagements
- Supervise and review junior staff and seniors
- Be primary client contact and build long-term relationships
- Ensure compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with partners on technical, strategic, and billing matters
- Support internal training, process improvements, and team development
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102) and industry trends
Key requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Experience managing UK audit engagements in practice
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and FRS 102
- Proven team leadership and mentorship ability
- Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence and car preferred for client visits
