Senior Building Surveyor

Overview

Enrich Mace’s building surveying consultancy by delivering professional and project-based surveying across diverse sectors from Education to Corporate Real Estate in the Southwest. You will lead feasibility, surveys, design, specs, and contract administration, contributing to bids and learning transfer into systems. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to uphold safety, quality, and compliance, shaping outcomes for clients and stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Prepare feasibility studies and recommendations
• Scope, estimate, and present reports
• Conduct surveys, design and specification services
• Ensure compliance with asbestos, health and safety, and related legislation
• Post-contract administration and final account agreement
• Interface with client and other consultants across project stages
• Collaborate with associates and directors on bids for new work
• Input learnings into internal database and contribute to knowledge sharing
• Assist with new technology for data capture and reporting
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary consultancy team across sectors

Key requirements

• Previous building surveying experience in a consultancy or client environment
• Technical knowledge and competency in building surveying
• Good negotiation, presentation and report writing skills
• Strong IT skills
• Professional membership MRICS (Essential)
• A relevant degree is beneficial
