Senior MEP Commercial Manager – Project Based

Overview

In this project-based Senior Commercial Manager role, you will lead the commercial delivery of high-value MEP-driven projects (£50m–£100m) within our Science and Healthcare team. You’ll tender, win, and deliver for a global contractor, shaping commercial strategy, procurement, and risk management to meet project goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain client relationships and ensure quality outcomes. The role offers impact across bidding, delivery, and stakeholder engagement in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial elements of bid proposals and presentations to win projects
• Deliver high-value projects (£50m–£100m) by collaborating with the project team
• Plan resource requirements and recruit/coordinate project staff
• Support/lead pre-construction procurement in liaison with site team
• Maintain and develop supply chain relationships
• Maintain metrics for projects and manage change processes with financial reporting
• Establish regular project team meetings with risk assessment and management as agenda items
• Develop and grow client relationships with clients and professional teams for assigned projects

Key requirements

• Proven track record delivering large-scale science/healthcare/tech construction projects
• Experience with NEC contracts and other forms of contract
