Overview

In this role you design, build and support high-quality data solutions that power national NHS services. You’ll work across the full product lifecycle with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust data architectures, pipelines, warehousing, reporting and visualisation. You’ll apply Agile/DevOps practices, drive continuous improvement and help evolve our data platforms. This is a collaborative role focused on delivering data-enabled insights for decision making and service renewal.

Responsibilities

  • design and develop data architectures and pipelines
  • build and maintain data warehousing solutions
  • deliver reporting and visualisation outputs for decision making
  • work across full product lifecycle from requirements to deployment
  • apply Agile and DevOps practices in delivery planning
  • troubleshoot complex issues and support continuous improvement of data platforms
  • share knowledge and mentor less experienced colleagues

Key requirements

  • experience designing, developing and implementing data and analytics solutions
  • data warehousing, ETL/ELT development, structured and semi-structured data handling
  • advanced SQL skills
  • experience across full delivery lifecycle in Agile, DevOps or similar
  • ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver quality outputs
