Overview
In this role you will join a leading international law firm’s Contentious Construction team in London, handling high-value disputes across infrastructure, energy, and real estate. You will work closely with senior lawyers on adjudications, arbitrations, and High Court matters, contributing to strategy and client advice from day one. You’ll develop expertise in drafting submissions and pleadings while gaining exposure to major clients and complex cases. This role offers clear progression in a collaborative, top-tier environment with early responsibility and meaningful client contact.
Responsibilities
- Assisting on high-profile construction and engineering disputes
- Supporting adjudications, arbitrations, and High Court litigation
- Drafting submissions, pleadings, and client advice
- Working closely with senior lawyers on strategic case development
Key requirements
- UK-qualified solicitor with ~2 years’ PQE in contentious construction
- Strong technical grounding in the sector
- Excellent drafting skills and commercial awareness
