Overview

In this role you own the roadmap for Fuse’s AI initiatives and work closely with AI engineers to convert high-impact, ambiguous problems into scoped, measurable projects. You will bridge engineering and business, shaping cross-functional AI solutions that improve operations, data collection, and tooling. You’ll define success metrics, manage the AI backlog, and drive production-ready evaluation and feedback loops. This is a hands-on, product-led role at a fast-growing energy company using AI across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product roadmap for AI initiatives, from problem framing to shipping solutions
  • Partner daily with AI engineers on live projects spanning customer operations, data labeling/collection, and other business functions
  • Translate ambiguous problems into defined, scoped projects with clear success metrics
  • Build and manage the backlog for AI engineering, balancing speed, data/model quality, and business impact
  • Define how AI systems are evaluated in production and drive post-launch improvement loops

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM
  • Experience as a product owner, product manager, or technical program manager on engineering-heavy, ideally AI/ML or data-heavy products
  • Deep curiosity about AI with real-world application experience
  • Comfortable translating between engineers and business teams without losing precision
  • Relentless problem-solving approach and comfort with ambiguity
  • Strong collaboration with engineers and non-technical stakeholders
  • Clear communication and ability to translate complex ideas
  • Proactive problem solving under ambiguity
