Responsibilities
- Manage a broad, complex family law caseload (divorce, financial remedy, children matters, cohabitation disputes, pre- and post-nuptial agreements)
- Handle matters with autonomy while contributing to practice growth and profile
- Lead and participate in out-of-court dispute resolution (collaborative law, mediation, private FDRs)
- Mentor and develop junior colleagues to build team capability
- Engage in business development and client relationship management
- Represent the firm in governance of strategic direction and growth initiatives
- Maintain high professional standards and client-focused communication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver holistic client service
Key requirements
- Qualified solicitor with 6+ years’ PQE in family law
- Experience managing a high-value, broad family law caseload (financial remedy and private children)
- Enthusiasm for out-of-court dispute resolution; collaborative law or mediation accreditation preferred
- Proven mentoring ability and leadership in a legal team
- Commercial awareness with track record in business development and client relationships
