Estates Strategy Advisor (Health and Life Sciences)

Overview

In this role you will support the delivery of estate strategies and transformation programmes for health and life sciences clients. You will work within multidisciplinary teams to develop evidence-based recommendations and robust business cases. You’ll produce client-facing outputs that guide long-term investment and estate planning, while contributing to the growth of WSP’s life sciences advisory capability. Responsibilities

• Supporting the development and delivery of estate strategies, development control plans and business cases aligned to client objectives
• Applying analytical thinking, research and scenario testing to evaluate strategic options and inform robust recommendations
• Building trusted client relationships and embedding within client and multidisciplinary teams
• Supporting the Director of Life Sciences Strategy in delivering high‑quality commissions, proposals and thought leadership, and mentoring junior team members
• Producing high‑quality reports, presentations and workshop materials applying best‑practice methodologies
• Contributing to continuous improvement of WSP’s strategic advisory and estates planning capability

Key requirements

• Experience delivering estate strategy, estate planning, strategic advisory, property consultancy or business planning within complex organisations
• Experience contributing to the development of estate strategies, masterplans, business cases, transformation programmes or capital investment plans
• Evidence of positive client engagement and successful delivery
• Strong stakeholder engagement and political awareness
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clear deliverables
• Experience supporting risk and change management in estates or technical environments
• Project-management training or experience related to strategic planning in life sciences
• Skills in visual aids and graphics tools such as PowerPoint, InDesign, Illustrator
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
