Senior Litigation Consultant

Overview

In this role you will manage a caseload in early conciliation and tribunal matters, from merits discussions to drafting responses and witness statements, to conducting telephone preliminary hearings. You will work in a fast-paced, supportive team focused on excellent client service with a commercial approach. You’ll handle document disclosure, bundle preparation, and stakeholder liaison, advancing cases toward favorable outcomes. This is an opportunity to take conduct of cases, develop client relationships, and grow your expertise in employment law.

Responsibilities

• Review Tribunal and Early Conciliation matters, including complex open track cases
• Draft responses, witness statements, and relevant applications
• Manage document disclosure and bundle creation
• Liaise with Tribunals, Claimants’ representatives, and clients
• Discuss merits and aim for commercially favourable settlements
• Support corporate clients as a dedicated Litigation Executive
• Conduct preliminary hearings by telephone

Key requirements

• Law degree (or GDL) plus experience and/or LPC/BPTC
• Commitment to helping clients through difficult times
• Positive, team-oriented approach to a busy workload
