Performance – Logistics & Transportation (Senior Vice President)

Overview

In this role within AlixPartners’ Logistics & Transportation team, you help distressed and high-impact clients improve operations, navigate supply chains, and drive sustainable growth. The position blends client-facing delivery with project leadership across multiple workstreams, requiring travel and hybrid work. You’ll contribute to rapid, implementable solutions that address critical logistics and infrastructure challenges. This is an opportunity to shape outcomes for clients when it matters most and partner with senior leaders to drive value.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery and project leadership in operational improvement initiatives across supply chain, operating model, and organizational design
• Support PE and investment lifecycle related activities and advisory work for clients
• Develop and communicate clear analyses and recommendations to team leaders and clients
• Drive implementation-oriented solutions across multiple workstreams and client engagements
• Engage in client travel (including international) as needed to advance engagements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment
• Contribute to market-facing activities and industry events to stay connected with logistics and transportation dynamics

Key requirements

• Track record in logistics, transportation, or infrastructure roles with consulting and/or industry experience
• Delivery leadership on operational improvement projects and multiple workstreams
• Strong analytical ability with solid financial literacy and modelling
• Ability to translate business issues into clear communication for leaders and clients
• Passion for the logistics and transportation industry and active participation in industry events
• Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and executive-level presentation skills
• Fluency in English; additional language advantageous
• Willingness to travel and work outside normal UK hours, and to work in office and remote settings
• Physically able to work long hours at a computer
