Electrical Design Engineer

Overview

As an Electrical Design Engineer you will drive electrical design work from concept to delivery within a specialist engineering team. You will translate customer needs into concrete electrical designs, produce detailed schematics, and generate BOMs for manufacturing. You’ll support customers and the wider engineering team, ensuring designs meet exact requirements. This role offers hands-on influence in automation projects and a path to contribute to scalable manufacturing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Gather electrical design specifications from customers and colleagues
• Manage projects from concept through delivery
• Create detailed electrical designs and schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
• Ensure designs meet client requirements
• Create BOMs for manufacturing
• Provide technical support to customers and the engineering team

Key requirements

• Previous experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
• Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical for detailed designs
• Ability to manage design projects from concept to delivery
